Artist's Statement:
My images are based on remembered places or events. I wish to express my feelings about things that grab my attention and have meaning for me. Using equivalent means (gestures, space, shape, color etc.) without preconception, I start with a memory and play around with possibilities. Having an internal dialogue with the work as it progresses, allows me to determine how the image will take shape. I hope the viewer will do likewise.
